campaign: campaign name abbreviation
nars = NARVAL South, narn = NARVAL North, nar2 = NARVAL2, nawd = NAWDEX
instrument/product: instrument name abbreviation
cr00 = cloud radar, mwr00 = microwave radiometer, sonde = dropsondes, lwpiwv = retrieval products of liquid water path and integrated water vapor
level: data level according to GODAE data level structure
variable: variable abbreviation
''any'' for multiple variables in a data set and ''tb'' for microwave radiometer brightness temperatures
version: version of data set in data base, starting with 00
date: day of flight
time: time of start of data set in each file
Data was mostly sampled at flight altitudes between 9.5 km and 14.5 km.
LWP denotes the total mass of all liquid water hydrometeors in the atmospheric column. The estimated contribution due to rain drops is included in the product as RWP. The cloud water path (CWP or atmosphere_mass_content_of_cloud_liquid_water) can be derived as difference LWP - RWP. The distinction of the hydrometeor classes rain and cloud liquid water follows the definition in the ICON model.
