This is an atmospheric hourly hindcast for Western Europe and the North Atlantic using COSMO-CLM version 5.00_clm8 with spectral nudging from 1979-2017 ongoing. The model uses a rotated grid with 450 x 488 grid points and a grid point distance of 0.11 degrees, the rotated North pole is located at 162 W, 39.25 N. The forcing is ERAinterim.
In rotated coordinates the model area extends from 29.805 W to 19.585 E, 24.805 S to 28.765 N, in geographical coordinates this corresponds to about 25 W to 47 E, 25.8 N to 72 N.
