The soil is divided into 5 unevenly spaced layers with thickness from top to bottom, according to 0.065, 0.254, 0.913, 2.902 and 5.7 [m].
The soil temperatures (level1: TD3, level2: TD4, level3: TD5, level4: TD, level5: TDCL) are representative for the layer means. The mean depth for each layer beyond the surface are -0.0325, -0.192, -0.7755, -2.683 and -6.984 [m].
