The data consists of 19 simulations with the MPI-ESM1.2 in a terra-planet setup, in which all grid-cells are assumed to be glaciated. Solar irradiance is reduced by 6% and the subgrid-scale orography is reduced in all grid-cells to near-zero values (standard deviation of the subgrid-scale orography < 10m).
Provided are 10 simulations with prescribed surface albedos, in which atmospheric CO2 is gradually increased from present-day levels to about 400 mbar over the course of 100 years. Additionally, there is model output of 9 simulations that target an stepwise increase in atmospheric CO2 from present-day levels to about 160 mbar and which were run with interactive surface albedos based on an adapted snow albedo scheme. In the adapted snow-albedo scheme, the reflectivity is partly determined by the assumed dust deposition flux, which differs between the 9 simulations.
Besides the (raw) model output, the data includes the scripts and input data required to run the model in the specific setups, as well as scripts that can be used in the analysis of the data.
