The soil is divided into 10 unevenly spaced layers with the following boundaries: Please note, that the lowest two levels are provided in data stream 2 only. level 1: 0.00 to - 0.01 m level 2: -0.01 to - 0.04 m level 3: -0.04 to - 0.10 m level 4: -0.10 to - 0.22 m level 5: -0.22 to - 0.46 m level 6: -0.46 to - 0.94 m level 7: -0.94 to - 1.90 m level 8: -1.90 to - 3.82 m level 9: -3.82 to - 7.66 m level10: -7.66 to -15.24 m The dataset acronym indicates the lower bound of the soil layer while the data values itselves are representative for the whole layer. For this parameter the transformation procedure from the rotated grid (D2) to the regular grid (D3) is nearest neighbour method (cdo remapdis1).
