Data are results of dynamical downscaling of NCEP/NCAR reanalysis, ECHAM5/MPIOM 20th century run and A1B scenario run for the North Atlantic and North European shelves. For the downscaling the global ocean-sea ice-marine biogeochemistry model MPIOM/HAMOCC with high horizontal resolution at the European shelves coupled to an atmospheric regional model REMO and global terrestrial hydrology model HD have been used. The goal is to study the interactions between the North Atlantic Ocean and the European shelves as well as their impact on the North Atlantic climate.
