WETTREG A1B SCENARIO RUN, UBA PROJECT, 2061-2070

Summary
The statistical regional climate model WETTREG was applied to simulate the current and future climate of Germany for different climate scenarios (IPCC-SRES).
The simulations have been initiated by Umweltbundesamt (P. Mahrenholz) and were carried out by CEC Potsdam GmbH / Meteo-Research (W. Enke).
The WETTREG simulation starts in 1961 and computes the current and future climate from 1961 to 2100 using the ECHAM5/OM IPCC control and scenario run 1 (SRES A1B, A2 and B1) in T63 horizontal resolution as boundary condition.
For all variables time series on daily basis are available.
The model domain covers Germany. The dataset is based on station data. There is no transient run. For each decade 200 year of simulations were produced. The output is available for each German state and parameter separately. Exceptions: Berlin is combined with Brandenburg, Hamburg with Schleswig-Holstein, Bremen with Niedersachsen and Saarland with Rheinland-Pfalz. For the parameter rainfall there are separate files for climate (RR) and rainfall (RX) stations. The RX file for Bavaria and Hessen is further divided into two files (BY and BA; HE and HS).
For each parameter 3 files are stored. File 1 contains the first 100 years, file 2 the second 100 years of a decade simulation and file 3 examples for a dry, wet and normal 10 year period. Standard output format for all data is ASCII (semicolon separated values). All data are saved in 1/10 off the given unit. Missing values are set to -9990.
