Please note the control run is for present-day conditions from a separate
spin-up and should not be used to make differences from any of the climate
change runs with the PCM.
Any differences computed for future climate should
use the 1960-99 PCM data (Historic Run) as a base
period for the differences.
However, the control is certainly OK to use for looking at internal
variability, etc.
